Mojca Jug is a producer and curator of various artistic events. She studied pedagogy for children with special needs at the Faculty of Education at the University in Ljubljana. In June 1998 she started to work in Bunker cultural centre as coordinator and administrator of the first edition of international festival of theatre and dance Mladi Levi. She has worked for Bunker ever since and her major preoccupations include creating and coordinating an artistic programme for Bunker’s industrial venue, Stara Mestna Elektrarna (an old power station), and co-programming and producing the festival Mladi Levi. In the past years she was also the producer of various cultural events such as performances of the theatre group Betontanc founded and directed by Matjaž Pograjc, Sanja Nešković Peršin’ dance performances, and Jette Ostan Vejrup’s concerts.

Her programming work extends beyond Bunker. She is being invited as a curator and programmer to numerous festivals and platforms. She has been a board member of IETM network for four years and a member of organizational team that prepared Ljubljana plenary IETM meeting in 2008. She is also a member of numerous international networks such as Balkan Express, D.B.M., Sostenuto and co-founder of association Triola. In the frame of Triola she is producing a cycle of contemporary piano concert by Milko Lazar and Bojan Gorišek and a cycle of jazz concerts in Sax Pub.

As a participant of the European Culture Congress Mojca Jug will contribute to the 10x10 project as a curator recommended by Laura Stašāne.
