Chairman and CEO of Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (Ina). Chairman of the Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM).

Mathieu Gallet is a graduate of the Bordeaux Institut d’études politiques and has a postgraduate degree in the economic analysis of public decisions from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne.

During his studies, he began his professional career at Erato Disques, a Warner Music Group record label, before moving on to the Pathé International and then the Canal + Group (2001-2006).

In 2006, he joined the departmental staff of the French Minister for Industry as Technical Advisor on broadcasting and new technologies. In 2007, he moved to the staff of the French Minister for Culture and Communication as Technical Advisor on broadcasting and the media. Over the next two years, he especially worked on reforms of advertising on France Télévisions, and the reorganisation of the French external broadcasting and for the modernisation of the funding of French production.

In June 2009, he was appointed Assistant Director of the Departmental Staff of Frédéric Mitterrand, French Minister for Culture and Communication.

Since the 26th May 2010, he has held the post of Chairman and CEO of the Ina and Chairman of the COPEAM.
