Anna Colin is a Paris-based curator working as associate director of Bétonsalon – Centre for Art and Research. Parallely, she is carrying out independent projects and research funded by Centro Cultural Montehermoso, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain on the figure of the witch as appropriated by feminist artistic and militant practice since the 1960s.

She was curator at Gasworks in London between 2007 and early 2011, guest-curator at The Women’s Library, London in 2010, radio programmer/presenter for Resonance 104.4FM, London between 2002 and 2006, contributing editor for Untitled magazine in 2007-08 and London correspondent for the magazine Art Press between 2002 and 2007.

Over the last few years she has researched and engaged with practices from the realm of art and visual cultures which connect to non-dominant and micro-histories, and aim to share and make public forms of knowledge which sit outside of established discourses. Within that frame of ideas – and amongst other activities and collaborations – she initiated the ongoing curatorial project Disclosures together with Mia Jankowicz.

For the European Culture Congress Anna Colin curates (together with Remco de Blaaij) a part of the 10x10 project. She has been recommended by Maria Lind (Sweden).
