Zun Zun Egui

Zun Zun Egui will open a nine concert series curated by Artur Rojek, Myslovitz frontman and director of the OFF Festival in Katowice. The first evening will be devoted to the new folk-inspired music that has been making a resurgence among European artists in recent years.

“The music of Zun Zun Egui belongs to a number of traditions, and while less folk-inspired than the other bands, their show will be the most out-of-this-world, psychedelic performance of the day. With a lineup of seven musicians on stage, their concerts are a dynamic, trance-like experience. I’m looking forward to an impressive show with elements of unexpected madness.

What I found most intriguing about them when I first saw the band a year ago was their name. I assumed they were a group of Asian musicians that someone had discovered in Indonesia or Thailand, because that’s where A&R agents have been scouting out interesting artists. But it turned out that Zun Zun Egui are from the UK, although the band is composed of musicians from all over the world. They haven’t released an album yet, but their debut is coming out this year.” (Artur Rojek)

OydR1X It`s really useful! Looking through the Internet you can mostly observe watered down information, something like bla bla bla, but not here to my deep surprise. It makes me happy..!!
