Idea Generator is a kind of workshops in which representatives and NGO leaders participate. Participants have got 24 hours to prepare a socio-cultural project related to a specific social problem (e.g. exclusion of the elderly, environment protection, recycling, networking, and NGO advocacy). Idea Generator is to use creatively the potential of new technologies and online tools in socially undeveloped or underdeveloped areas. The rule is to establish cooperation between representatives of creative professions and representatives of NGOs active in the socio-cultural field.
The project is planned for ca. 50 participants that work in one of the preferred sectors. The curator of the project will choose them from a group of applicants. Participants will be divided into teams of several persons and equipped with materials necessary to realize the project; they also will be supported by the “Master of the Ceremony” and four assistants.
The project will be finalized with a public presentation of the output of the Idea Generator and a public vote - on September 10, at 12 p.m. The winning team will get a grant toward the realization of the project idea.
