Piotr Romanowski
Piotr Romanowski is a legend of the Polish counterculture, who lives in the remote village in the Warmia region, North of Poland. One of the local shamans describes him a s a creator of the Warmia new age. Born in Warsaw he turned into a Warmia-based Greenpeace activist. In the early 80ties he co-founded – together with Jarek Guła, Faustyn, From, Palepek and Piotr Bikont – a legendary hippie - anarchistic commune. Few years ago he created an unique periodical project called Rękądzieło (Handmade), that has attracted a lot of creative people from all over Poland. This year an initiative has been cut by the zealous local civil servants. Piotr doesn’t give up and is seems that the future belongs to him.
