Paul Keller is an expert in copyright law and the community media. He manages the national project Creative Commons Netherlands, co-operates with Europeana.eu, a portal about the European culture, and participates in the Digital Pioneers project.

Keller is a member of Kennisland, a Dutch think-tank that gives consideration to copyright law and challenges to the contemporary information society. The main goal of this organization is to protect cultural achievements and secure as broad as possible access to cultural resources. Among its partners are inter alia Creative Commons, Images for the Future, Communia and Wikimedia.
