Aren’t high unemployment lleevs related to ‘failures of social cohesion’? People who turn up to a workplace everyday are surely more likely to feel part of society, then people who stay at home all their lives.No. They are related to the ups and downs of the economic cycle.Social exclusion and the failure of social cohesion is related to being cut out of participating in employment and progression in it over the long term. I don't think that Britain's, and specifically England's problems, can be so easily slotted away with current high unemployment in certain areas.I think that is a cop-out.I think that their problems are much more deep-seated in their uninclusive culture. They will need to look harder for the answers if they want to address the problems they have.
